If you are looking a way to play flag football in Rhode Island, Massachusetts or Connecticut, you should check out the Next Level Performance Academy (NLPA) Flag Football program. NLPA is an official NFL Flag Football league that offers coed divisions for ages 4 to 14. Here are some of the benefits of joining NLPA:

– You can play in one of the five locations: Providence, Cranston, Coventry, Blackstone Valley or Bryant University.
– You can save money by registering early for the spring season, which starts on April 14th. The early bird discount ends on January 1st.

CT Flag is a league that offers programs for boys and girls of different ages and skill levels. Lil Ballerz Program: This is a program for kids aged 3-4, who want to learn the basics of throwing, catching and running control. Moms League: This is a program for women who want to play flag football for fun and fitness. It is open to women aged 18 and older from any town in Connecticut. CT Pride Football has various programs and events for youth and high school football players who want to learn from experienced coaches and compete at a high level. CT Pride Football organizes tackle programs, 7v7 teams, skill clinics, future stars, recruiting and exposure, personal mentoring, and athletic development. CT Pride’s FBU All-Star Team – Indoor Tryout: This is an opportunity for the top 10U, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in CT to join the all-star team that will represent the state and compete for a national championship. The tryout will be held on October 9th at Insports Centers in Trumbull, CT. The cost is $25 per player. Insports Centers is the premier sports facility for youth and adult sports in Connecticut. Insports Centers offers year-round flag football programs for all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. You can join one of their leagues, camps, clinics, or tournaments and enjoy playing on their 100-yard convertible turf field or their boarded box arena. You can also rent their facilities for your own private events or fundraisers.

Insports Centers has a variety of flag football options to suit your needs and preferences. You can choose from:

Youth Flag Football: For kids ages 5-14, this program teaches the fundamentals of flag football in a fun and safe environment. The Northeast Flag Football League (NEFFL) is a non-contact, co-ed league that offers different divisions for players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, you can find a team that suits you.

The NEFFL has two leagues: the Southern League and the Northern League. The Southern League covers towns south of Norwalk, such as Greenwich, Stamford, Rye Brook, White Plains, and Armonk. The Northern League covers towns north of Norwalk, such as Bridgeport, Milford, New Haven, Stratford, and West Haven. Each league has its own schedule, registration, and fees.

The NEFFL runs two seasons: spring and fall. The spring season starts in April and ends in June. The fall season starts in September and ends in November. Each season consists of eight regular games and playoffs. The games are played on Sundays, either in the morning or in the afternoon, depending on the league and division.

The NEFFL offers six divisions for different age groups: Tiny Mites (4-5 years old), Mighty Mites (6-7 years old), Junior Pee Wees (8-9 years old), Wees (10-11 years old), Juniors (12-13 years old), and Seniors (14-16 years old). There is also an all-girls league for ages 6-14. The divisions are based on the age of the player as of January 1st of the current year.

The NEFFL provides jerseys, flags, referees, and trophies for all players. The registration fee varies depending on the league and division, but it ranges from $175 to $225 per player. The CFFL runs in the spring and fall seasons, and each division has a regular season plus playoffs. The games are played at various locations in Hartford, East Hartford and Manchester. 32 Sports has NFL Flag Football leagues, tournaments and clinics for boys and girls aged 6 to 14. You can join as an individual or as a team, and enjoy the benefits of playing in a safe and organized environment.

The registration for the fall season is open until September 1st, and the cost is $150 per player. The season runs from September 11th to November 6th, with games on Saturdays and Sundays. Each player will receive an NFL Flag Football jersey, flag belt and mouthpiece.

GameOn Flag Football is a 5 on 5 youth flag football league in Connecticut. Here is what you need to know about this league:

– GameOn Flag Football is open to boys and girls in grades K through 8 from any town in Connecticut.
– There are three separate leagues running in three towns: Madison, West Haven and Middletown. You can register your child for any of these leagues, regardless of where you live. This is not a travel league, so your child will play in the same town for seven weeks.
– The league season runs for seven consecutive Sundays starting on March 28 and ending on May 17.
– The teams are coached by varsity football high school coaches, student athletes and local volunteer parent coaches. The kids play and learn both offense and defense and switch at the half.

The Connecticut High School Football Alliance (CHSFA) is a program that brings together high school teams from different divisions and conferences to play competitive games in the fall season. The CHSFA has just announced its 100-game schedule for September to November.

The CHSFA was created in 2021 to provide more opportunities for high school football players to face different opponents and showcase their skills. The alliance is composed of 112 schools from the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) and the Connecticut Technical Conference (CTC). The games are organized by region, division and class, and they count towards the teams’ playoff eligibility.

NFL FLAG: This is the largest flag football league in the U.S., and the only league where players can wear official NFL gear. Windsor

One of the programs that CT Flag offers is the Windsor Flag Football League, which is based in Windsor and open to participants from any town. This is a recreational league, so there are no tryouts or cuts, and no previous experience is necessary. The spring season will typically begin in early April, with practices starting the week before the first games. Games are played on Sundays at Jack O’Brien Stadium. The registration fee covers a full season of practices and games, a team jersey, flag belt and flags, use of well groomed fields, certified officials, interactive website, organized administration, and a lot of fun for you and your child. The Windsor Flag Football League has two divisions: Lil Ballerz for ages 3-4 and Recreational League for ages 5-15. The Lil Ballerz program is an exciting program that begins the development of throwing, catching and running control, all while playing creative and fun games. Touchdowns are scored at the end of every class with the parents cheering them on. The Lil Ballerz program runs for 5 weeks between 12-1pm.

The Recreational League is for players who want to learn and enjoy the game of flag football. The games are 40 minutes long and each team plays one game per week for a total of ~7 games for the season. All teams qualify for the playoffs at the end of the season. The Recreational League requires players to wear a mouthguard and protective headgear during games.

Milford

The Milford Eagles Pop Warner Flag Football program is backed by the NFL Flag initiative and offers two sessions: Spring and Fall. Here are some details about the program and how to register.

– The program is open to boys and girls ages 5-14, regardless of skill level or prior experience.
– The program focuses on developing the fundamentals of the game, as well as teamwork and sportsmanship.
– The registration fee includes a team jersey and insurance.
– The Spring session runs from April to June, and the Fall session runs from September to November.
– The Spring session is more focused on development, while the Fall session has a draft, standings and playoffs.
– The games are played on Sundays at the Orange Ave Turf Fields, with one hour of practice before each game.
– The program has different divisions based on age: 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U.

Stoughton

The Stoughton Youth Flag Football League (SYFFL) is a non-profit organization that offers flag football programs for boys and girls of different age groups and skill levels. Here are some of the benefits of joining the SYFFL:

– You will learn the fundamentals of flag football, such as passing, catching, running, blocking, and defending.
– You will develop your physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership skills.

The SYFFL has four divisions: Junior (grades 1-2), Senior (grades 3-5), Girls (grades 6-8), and High School (grades 9-12). The Fairfield County Football League (FCFL) is a youth football league that offers co-ed and all-girls NFL flag football leagues for kids in grades 3 to 8. The FCFL also has tackle and modified football programs for kids who want to learn the fundamentals of the game in a safe and fair environment. The FCFL is made up of 10 member organizations: Bridgeport, Darien, Fairfield, New Canaan, Norwalk, Ridgefield, Stamford, Trumbull, Westport and Wilton. Meriden

The Meriden YMCA in Connecticut football program is part of NFL FLAG Powered by USA Football, which means that players get to wear NFL team jerseys and learn the fundamentals of football in a non-contact, continuous action environment.

The flag football program is open to children ages 5 to 13, and runs from September 25 to November 13. The games are held on Mondays and Wednesdays at Ceppa Field, 83 Gale Avenue, Meriden. The fee is $75 for full members and $100 for program members. You can register online, by phone, or in person at the Meriden YMCA at 110 West Main Street.

Shoreline Sports

Shoreline Social Sports & Events has adult co-ed flag football leagues in Connecticut, with different locations and days to suit your preferences.

Shoreline Social Sports & Events is a community organization that aims to provide recreational and competitive sports leagues for adults who want to stay active, meet new people and have a good time. They also organize social events, such as parties, bar specials and tournaments, to enhance the experience and foster friendships.

Shoreline Social Sports & Events offers two locations for spring flag football: New London and Waterbury. Both locations have games on Sundays, starting from April 23rd and ending on June 11th (no games on Memorial Day). The games are 8 v 8, with at least 3 females on the field at a time. Teams consist of a minimum of 10 players, and you can sign up as a team, on your own, or with a small group of friends. You must be 21 or older to play.

The registration fee includes a team t-shirt, weekly bar specials at the sponsor bar, a party for the season, refs, an on-site league coordinator and a tournament prize. All teams make the playoffs, and the tournament winner receives a prize from the host bar. The fee varies depending on the location and the registration date. For New London, the fee is $60 per person if you register by March 21st, or $65 per person if you register by April 23rd. For Waterbury, the fee is $65 per person if you register by March 21st, or $70 per person if you register by April 23rd.

Western Connecticut

If you want to play flag football in Western Connecticut, you might want to check out the Western CT Flag Football League. This league offers different divisions for men, women and co-ed teams of various skill levels and ages. You can join as an individual or as a team.

The registration fee is $100 per player, and the league provides referees, flags, and jerseys. Danbury

The D.A.Y.O NFL USA Flag Football program is a youth spring league that is affiliated with the NFL and USA Football. The league welcomes players of different age groups and skill levels, from 5 to 18 years old. Here are some of the details you need to know:

– Games are played on Sundays at Broadview Middle School (Kaplanis Turf Football Field). The start dates will be posted soon.
– Players are divided into four divisions based on their age: Division 1 (5-8), Division 2 (9-11), Division 3 (12-14), and Division 4 (High School).
– Practices will be 1-2 days a week at various locations, such as Rogers Park Middle School, Danbury High School, Harambee Youth Center, and Kaplanis Field. Coaches will contact their teams with the schedule and locations.
– If you have any questions or want to volunteer as a coach, you can contact Commissioner Ryan Saunders at 203-528-8630.
State law requires that all coaches, referees and volunteers provide a current BACKGROUND CHECK which must be updated every 2 years.

The D.A.Y.O NFL USA Flag Football program is part of the Danbury Athletic Youth Organization (DAYO), which is a non-profit organization that promotes organized youth sports and character development in the Danbury area. Oxford

The Oxford NFL Flag Football program hosts flag football for boys and girls in grades K-8 in Oxford, Connecticut. Flag football is a non-contact sport that teaches the fundamentals of football, teamwork and sportsmanship. Oxford NFL Flag Football is powered by the NFL Flag Football Program, which provides official NFL team jerseys, flags, rule books and other resources.

Oxford NFL Flag Football has two divisions: D1 for grades K-4 and D2 for grades 5-8. The games are played on Saturdays at Great Oak Middle School from September to November. The registration fee is $125 per player, which includes the jersey, flags, insurance and referees. The registration deadline is August 31st. Oxford NFL Flag Football is always looking for coaches, volunteers and sponsors to help run the program. State law requires that all coaches, referees and volunteers provide a current BACKGROUND CHECK which must be updated every 2 years.

 

Northeast Connecticut

The Northeast Flag Football League (NEFFL) co-ed league offers different divisions for players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you are a beginner or a veteran, you can find a team that suits your needs and preferences.

The NEFFL has two main leagues: the Southern League and the Northern League. The Southern League covers towns south of Norwalk, such as Greenwich, Stamford, Rye Brook, Rye, Scarsdale, White Plains, Armonk, etc. The Northern League covers towns north of Norwalk such as Bridgeport, Milford, New Haven, Stratford, Trumbull, West Haven, etc. When signing up, please note which league you are registering with.

The Southern League season begins in the second week of April and ends with the championship in the second week of June. All games are played on Sunday mornings. The Northern League season begins in the third week of April and ends with the championship in the third week of June. All games are played on Sunday afternoons.

The NEFFL offers both an all-girls league and a co-ed league. The all-girls league has three age groups: Power Puffs (6-8 year olds), Juniors (9-11 year olds), and Seniors (12-14 year olds). The co-ed league has six age groups: Tiny Mites (4-5 year olds), Mighty Mites (6-7 year olds), Jr. Pee Wees (8-9 year olds), Wee’s (10-11 year olds), Juniors (12-13 year olds), and Seniors (14-16 year olds).

The registration fee for the spring season is $175 per player. This includes a jersey, shorts, flags, and insurance. You can register online at https://www.northeastflagfootballleague.com/. Stamford

Sportsplex Stamford: This is a fitness and wellness center that offers flag football leagues for adults. The leagues are divided into men’s and co-ed divisions, and they run year-round on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights. The registration for the winter season is open until January 15, and the cost is $950 per team.
