One of the most exciting opportunities is the NFL FLAG Adult Tournament Series, which gives you a chance to compete with other teams from across the country and win prizes and recognition. The NFL FLAG Adult Tournaments debuted in April, 2023 alongside the Kansas City Chiefs and will feature four events in 2024 with divisions for both men and women. Another option is to join the Adult Flag Football league in Rogers, AR, which is open to anyone 18 years or older. The league runs from August to October and consists of seven players on each team. Southern Arkansas University

The intramural sports program at Southern Arkansas University has 7 on 7 flag football games for students, faculty, and staff of all skill levels. You can form your own team or join as a free agent.

The games are played on the intramural field, which is 100 yards by 40 yards, with two 10 yard end zones. The game consists of two 20-minute halves, with a running clock until the last two minutes of each half. Each team has three timeouts per game, and can score points by touchdowns, safeties, and extra point tries from different distances. The game follows the rules of the NIRSA Flag and Touch Football Rules, which you can find on the SAU MAC website.

To register for the flag football league, you need to create an account on IMLeagues.com and join the SAU MAC group. The registration deadline is January 29, and the games will start on February 5. The league will run until February 29, with playoffs following after. The cost of registration is $20 per team, which covers the equipment, officials, and awards.

Fayetteville

The City of Fayetteville offers flag football programs for both youth and adults, with different skill levels and formats. You can register online or in person at the Parks and Recreation office located at 113 W. Mountain Street. Here are some of the details of the flag football programs:

Youth Flag Football: This program is for boys and girls ages 5 to 14, divided into four age groups: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-14. The season runs from September to November, with games played on Saturdays at various locations. The registration fee is $65 per player, which includes a jersey and flags. Adult Flag Football: This program is for men and women ages 18 and older, with two divisions: competitive and recreational. Bentonville

The Arkansas Super Seahawks are a non-profit organization that teaches children from 6 to 13 years old the fundamentals and proper techniques of tackle football, while also promoting core values such as integrity, service and excellence.

The Arkansas Super Seahawks have fall season registration open for children entering 2nd-6th grades. You can register online at https://arkansassuperseahawks.com/registration-1. The Arkansas Super Seahawks have award-winning coaches who are certified and have experience as former NFL players, NCAA athletes, semi-pro athletes or youth all-American coaches. They also have a national training center for athletic development and a mobile equipment trailer to support their teams at practice and games.

The Arkansas Super Seahawks offer exclusive access to elite competition, camps and community partnerships. They are the 2018 Arkansas Youth Program of the year and have participated in events such as the Super Razorback Day at the University of Arkansas, camps with local sports teams and playing at amazing venues like Cowboys stadium.

 

The Camp Flag Football program in Bentonville is designed for kids who want to learn the basics of flag football, a non-contact sport that involves passing, catching, and running plays.

The camp is held at the Old Tiger Track, and each camper needs to bring their own water bottle and mouth guard. The camp runs from Monday June 10 to Thursday June 13, and it is divided into two age groups: 6 to 9 and 10 to 14. The registration fee is $135 for residents and $145 for non-residents for the younger group, and $150 for residents and $160 for non-residents for the older group.

Jonesboro

The Wolf Cub Flag Football program is run by the Jonesboro Parks and Recreation Department and is open to kids ages 4 to 18. You can register online for only $40 and join a team based on your age group. The program aims to develop your athletic abilities and skills in an organized and positive environment. You will also have the opportunity to learn from volunteer coaches who are passionate about the sport and the community.

The Wolf Cub Flag Football season starts in September and lasts until October. You will have practices at locations set by your coach and games at Joe Mack Campbell Park. The coaches meeting will be on 9/14 at the Public Works Building, where you can also fill out a volunteer form if you want to coach a team. Maumelle

The Maumelle Youth Football and Cheer program is a community organization that offers competitive tackle youth football and recreational cheer for children ages 5-12 in Maumelle, Arkansas. Here are some of the details you need to know:

– Practices are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM on Field 11 at Rolling Oaks Soccer Complex (1 FairPlay Way). If the practice field is unavailable, they will use Maumelle High School Stadium instead.
– Games are held on Saturdays starting from August 26 until November. There are playoff brackets and a Super Bowl at the end of the season. Players need to report to the field one hour before the game time. Adults pay $5 and children pay $3 to enter the games, unless they are players or coaches in uniform.
– There are different age groups and formats for flag football: 6U (5-6 years old), 7U (6-7 years old), 8U (8-9 years old), 10U (10-11 years old), and 12U (12 years old). The age deadline is July 1. Conway

There are several options for playing flag football in Conway, depending on your age and skill level. Here are some of them:

Conway Parks and Recreation Department offers youth flag football leagues for boys and girls ages 5-12. The registration fee is $65 per player and includes a jersey, flag belt, and mouthpiece. The registration deadline is August 9th and the season runs from September to November. Games are played at Don Owen Complex and Conway Station Park. Optimist Football League is a community organization that provides flag football opportunities for youth in grades K-6. Rogers

If you want to play flag football in Rogers, AR, you should check out the Adult Flag Football program offered by the Rogers Activity Center. Here are some details you need to know:

– The program is open to adults of all skill levels who want to play recreational flag football under Arkansas High School rules with some additional league rules.
– The registration period is from July 1 to August 5 and need to submit your team roster and entry fee of $650 per team at the front desk of the Rogers Activity Center (315 West Olive Street). There is a $20 late fee if you register after the deadline and if there are openings available.
– The season starts on September 4 and each team will play one or two games a week on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 6:00pm, 7:00pm, 8:00pm, or 9:00pm. Some games may be scheduled on Monday or Tuesday evenings if needed. The top four teams in each division will qualify for the playoffs.
– The teams consist of seven players on the field at one time (seven on defense and seven on offense). You need to supply your own flags that are at least 14 inches long and have a different color than your shorts or pants.

The Youth Flag Football program offered by the Rogers Parks and Recreation Department is open to players in the 4th, 5th, or 6th grade in the school year. The registration deadline is July 23 and the fee is $95 per player. The league will provide each player with a game jersey.

The games are played on Saturdays at Veterans Park, starting from September 7. The teams are formed based on the school the players attend, but some schools may be combined if there are not enough players. The league follows the High School Rules, with some modifications for flag football. The games consist of two 20-minute halves, with a running clock until the last minute of each half. Each team has 7 players on the field, and all players are eligible to receive a pass. There are no kickoffs or punts, and fumbles are dead when the ball touches the ground.

Sherwood Bears Youth Football

If you want to get your kids involved in the sport of flag football, you might want to check out the Sherwood Bears Youth Football organization. This is a local Central Arkansas organization for ages 4-12 (6th grade) that plays local teams at local parks. The home games are at Sylvan Hills High School Football Stadium and there are usually playoffs for the league after the regular season.

To register your child for the fall season, you can visit their website at www.sherwoodbears.com. The registration fee is $80 for cheerleaders and $85 for football players. This will cover their uniform and league fees. You will also need to purchase some additional equipment, such as shoulder pads and helmet (white) for football players, and cheerleading shoes for cheerleaders.

The practice schedule is tentative and may vary depending on the coach and the team. The general practice days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 6:00 PM at the Middle School soccer field. Centerton

The Purge Flag Football Club in Centerton, AR is affiliated with NFL FLAG, which means you get to wear official NFL team jerseys, shorts, and flags. You also get to play on Saturdays at Ardis Ann Middle School, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and facilities.

The Purge Flag Football Club offers leagues for kids from 5 to 14 years old, divided into four age groups: 7U, 9U, 12U, and 14U. The registration fee is $125 per player, which includes the NFL FLAG gear, a signed certificate of achievement, and an invitation to the end-of-season banquet with food and drinks. Plus, if you win the Super Bowl in your division, you get a Super Bowl ring and a trophy!

The club also recognizes the Most Valuable Player and the Most Improved Player in each division, giving them awards and recognition. The coaches are all volunteers who are passionate about teaching football skills and sportsmanship. Jacksonville, AR

There are different options for flag football in Jacksonville, depending on your age and preference. Here are some of them:

Youth Co-ed League: This league is for girls and boys aged 5-14 years old. The league runs in spring and fall seasons at Dupree Park. The registration fee is $75 for the first child and $65 for each additional household child. The fee includes paid referees, facilitation, jersey, and trophies for winning teams. Men & Co-ed League: This league is for adults who want to play flag football with other men or in mixed teams. The league also runs in spring and fall seasons at Dupree Park. Boys & Girls Club of Arkansas

The Flag Football Program offered by the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Arkansas River Valley is designed to help children develop football-related skills in a 9 on 9 league format. The program is open to children in grades K-4th and costs $65.00 per child. Military families receive one free athletic season.

To register your child, you need to create a My Club Hub account on the website https://www.bgclubsarv.org/flag-football/. You can also register your child for other programs and activities offered by the Boys & Girls Clubs, such as summer and after school programs. The registration deadline for the Flag Football Program is August 25.

The program includes two weeks of practices before game play, which takes place on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays. The games are guaranteed for 8 games for K-1st grade and 10 games for 2nd-4th grade. There is also an end-of-season tournament for each grade level. The only equipment required for the program is a mouthpiece, but soft cleats are preferred.

University of Central Arkansas (UCA) Athletics: UCA is a Division I school that competes in the Atlantic Sun Conference. UCA offers flag football as an intramural sport for students, faculty and staff. The intramural flag football season runs from September to November, and the registration fee is $25 per team. The Cabot Panther Flag Football League (CPFFL) is a non-profit youth organization that offers NFL Youth flag football programs for kids ages 4-16. CPFFL is located at the Ward Sports Complex in Ward, AR, and has been serving the community since 2022.

CPFFL has different divisions for different age groups and genders. The divisions are: 4-6 coed, 7-8 coed, 9-10 boys, 9-10 girls, 11-12 boys, 11-12 girls, 13-14 boys and 15-16 boys. Each division has its own rules and regulations based on the NFL Youth flag football guidelines. CPFFL follows the NFL Youth flag football rule book and code of conduct.

CPFFL has two seasons per year: spring and fall. The spring season runs from March to May, and the fall season runs from September to November. Each season consists of eight regular season games and a single elimination playoff tournament. The games are played on Saturdays at the Ward Sports Complex.

The registration fee is $75 per player, which includes a NFL Youth flag football jersey, a set of flags, a mouthpiece and a participation award. The registration deadline for the spring season is February 28th, and the registration deadline for the fall season is August 31st.
