Statewide

If you are looking for a fun and exciting way to play football in New Hampshire, you might want to check out flag football. Flag football is a no-contact sport that is suitable for boys and girls of all ages and skill levels. You can learn the basics of football, improve your fitness, and make new friends while wearing official NFL gear.

There are many flag football leagues and programs in New Hampshire that you can join. Here are some of them:

New Hampshire Flag Football League (NHFFL): This is the largest flag football league in the state, with over 500 players in different age groups. The NHFFL offers indoor and outdoor seasons throughout the year, with games played at the Phanzone in Hampstead, NH. NFL FLAG: This is the official flag football program of the NFL, with more than 500,000 youth athletes nationwide. NFL FLAG leagues are designed to give boys and girls of all abilities a chance to learn, play, and have fun. Community Organizations and School Programs: Many local organizations and schools in New Hampshire also offer flag football programs for kids and teens. For example, you can find flag football teams at the Boys and Girls Club of Manchester, the YMCA of Greater Nashua, the Dover Recreation Department, and more.

–  NH Urban Sport  is a recreational sports league in southern New Hampshire. They offer a variety of coed sports for adults of all skill levels, including flag football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and more.

Flag football is one of their most popular sports, and they have leagues running throughout the year in different locations. You can join as an individual, a small group, or a full team, and enjoy a friendly and competitive atmosphere. The games are played on turf fields with certified referees and equipment provided.

Here are some of the details you need to know if you are interested in joining a flag football league with NH Urban Sport:

– The fall season starts on September 12 and ends on November 7. The registration deadline is September 5.
– The winter season starts on January 9 and ends on March 6. The registration deadline is January 2.
– The spring season starts on April 3 and ends on June 5. The registration deadline is March 27.
– The summer season starts on July 10 and ends on September 4. The registration deadline is July 3.
– The cost per player is $85 for the fall, winter, and spring seasons, and $75 for the summer season. There is also a $10 annual membership fee.
– The games are played on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm at the RIM Sports Complex in Hampton, NH or the Seacoast United Sports Park in Epping, NH.
– Each team plays 8 regular season games and a single elimination playoff tournament.

NH Sportsplex Flag Football: This is a year-round indoor flag football league that operates at the NH Sportsplex facility in Bedford. NH Sportsplex Flag Football offers leagues for boys and girls ages 5-14, with divisions based on age and skill level. The games are played on Saturdays or Sundays, depending on the season. Granite State Flag Football League: This is a recreational flag football league that runs in the fall and spring seasons. Granite State Flag Football League offers leagues for boys and girls ages 4-15 in various locations across the state, such as Amherst, Concord, Dover, Exeter, Hampton, Hudson, Keene, Laconia, Lebanon, Londonderry, Manchester, Nashua, Portsmouth, Rochester, Salem, Somersworth, and Windham. Hampshire Dome: This indoor facility offers NFL Coed Youth Flag Football for ages 7-19. All divisions are coed and have a maximum roster size of 10 players. HHH Fury Sports: This organization runs basketball and flag football leagues for youth and adults in the Hampshire Hills area. The flag football league is open to players of all skill levels and genders. The cost is $125 per player or $1000 per team. The next session is Spring (Saturdays from April 6 to June 1). NHFFL: This is the official NFL Flag Football league in New Hampshire. It has divisions for boys and girls ages 5-17, as well as men’s and women’s divisions for adults. The games are played on Sundays at various locations across the state. The cost is $150 per player, which includes jersey, flags, insurance and referees. The next season is Fall (Sept to Nov). Skyhawks Flag Football Fueled by USA Football is designed for children between the ages of 5 and 12, and it teaches skills like passing, receiving, kicking and flag pulling. It also emphasizes teamwork, respect and sportsmanship, while fostering a lifelong love for an active, healthy lifestyle.

Skyhawks Flag Football is available in various cities and towns in New Hampshire, such as Amherst, Auburn, Jaffrey, Merrimack, Peterborough and Windham. The registration costs vary depending on the location and the duration of the program, but they are generally affordable and include a t-shirt and a merit award. Northeast region

If you are looking for a youth football league in the Northeast region, you might want to check out the Northeast Junior High Football League (NJHFL). This league is where state champions start their journey, as their slogan says. The NJHFL has teams from various cities and towns in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine, such as Andover, Portsmouth, Rochester, Lowell and more.

The NJHFL offers two divisions: Senior Division 1 and Senior Division 2, for players in grades 7 and 8. The registration cost is $150 per player, and the registration deadline is August 31. You can register online through the League Lineup website, where you can also find more information about the league rules, documents, schedules and standings.

The NJHFL season runs from September to November, with games on Saturdays. The playoff brackets are posted on the league website as well. The championship games for both divisions will be on November 18 at Rochester.

Southern New Hampshire

If you are looking for a fun and competitive way to play flag football in Southern New Hampshire, you might want to check out the Southern New Hampshire Flag Football League (SNHFFL). SNHFFL is a league for boys and girls ages 5-17, affiliated with NFL Flag. The league operates in Brookline, Hollis, and Milford, and welcomes players from all towns in the area.

SNHFFL offers two seasons: spring and fall. The spring season runs from April to June, and the fall season runs from September to November. The registration fee is $125 per player, which includes a reversible NFL jersey, flag belt, and insurance. The registration deadline for the spring season is March 15, and for the fall season is August 15.

The league has different divisions based on age and skill level. The divisions are: 5-6 coed, 7-8 coed, 9-11 boys, 9-11 girls, 12-14 boys, 12-14 girls, and 15-17 coed. Each division plays 8 regular season games, followed by playoffs and a championship game. If you are looking for flag football in the seacoast areas of northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, you should check out the Seacoast Youth Flag Football (SYFFL) league. SYFFL is a registered NFL Flag Youth League that offers programs for boys and girls ages 3-17 of all skill levels and abilities. Here are some of the benefits of joining SYFFL:

– You will receive an official NFL jersey, NFL flags, and SYFFL shorts to keep.
– You will learn the fundamentals of football from certified coaches who complete yearly health and safety trainings and background checks.
– You will play on a team with other kids who share your passion for the sport.
– You will have the opportunity to participate in various programs throughout the year, such as indoor winter sessions, spring season, summer camps, high school 7v7 league, and females in flag league.

Keene

One of the places where you can play flag football is in Keene, New Hampshire. The Keene Knights are a youth flag football organization that offers programs for boys and girls from kindergarten to 8th grade. The Keene Knights are affiliated with the NFL Flag program, which means they follow the official NFL Flag rules and use NFL team jerseys. The Keene Knights also provide coaching, equipment, insurance, and referees for all their games.

The registration for the spring season of the Keene Knights is open until March 1st. The cost is $125 per player, which includes a jersey, flag belt, mouth guard, and eight games. The games are played on Saturdays at the Keene High School fields from April to June. The teams are divided by grade level and gender, and each team has up to 10 players. The games are 5-on-5, with two 20-minute halves and a 5-minute halftime.

Nahsua

In Nashua, New Hampshire, you have several options to play flag football. Here are some of the leagues, community organizations and school programs that offer flag football for different age groups and skill levels.

Boys & Girls Club Nashua: This organization offers a spring flag football program for children ages 9-11 and 12-14. The games are held at Four Corners Field, Sargent Avenue (behind Holman Stadium) from May 2nd to June 21st. The season consists of four weeks of regular season games, one week of playoffs, and one championship week. The registration fee is $35 per season, and all participants must have an active Club membership ($40/year). Blitz Flag Football: This is a 5 on 5 flag football league for adults (ages 18 and up). The games are held on Saturday mornings at different locations in Nashua. The start times range from 8:15am to 3:30pm. Nashua PAL Force Football: This is a flag football program for both boys and girls, sponsored by the Nashua Police Athletic League. The program aims to teach young players the basics of football, teamwork and sportsmanship in a non-contact environment. The program is open to children in grades K-8, and the games are held at Artillery Field on Sundays from September to November. The registration fee is $75 per season, which includes a jersey and flags. Dover

Strafford

The season runs from September to October, with games on Fridays. There is no registration fee, but students must have a physical exam and permission slip to participate. Flag football is open to boys and girls from Grades 1-8. The program includes teams featuring players from Strafford, Northwood, Nottingham, Deerfield, and Barrington. Strafford will be on a team with Barrington.

The age groups are:

– Grades 6-8

Practices begin in August. Games will be held on Saturdays from late August to October. Each game will feature two 25-minutes halves. Games will be held in Deerfield, Barrington, and Nottingham. Lebanon

Derryfield

If you are looking for a fun and competitive way to play flag football in New Hampshire, you should check out the Granite State Games. The Granite State Games is a multi-sport event for amateur athletes of different ages and regions. One of the sports offered is flag football, which is open to high school and middle school students.

The flag football games will be held at Derryfield School from June 14 to 17, 2021. You can register as a finalist to secure your spot or contact the director Melissa Forbes at melissa.forbes@comcast.net. The fee is $150 per athlete, which includes a ticket to the Fisher Cats baseball game on Friday, June 26, where every GSG player will be recognized on the field before the first pitch. You will also get a dri-fit numbered jersey and a chance to win the MVP award.

The flag football games will follow the NHFFL rules and will be 11v11. You can choose to play for one of the four regions: Lakes, Southern, Coastal, or Monadnock. Milford

The Hampshire Dome in Milford, NH is an indoor sports facility that offers a variety of leagues and programs for all ages and skill levels. Here are some of the benefits of playing flag football at the Hampshire Dome:

– You can play year-round, regardless of the weather, on a state-of-the-art turf field that is 200 feet by 400 feet.
– You can join one of the NFL Youth Coed Flag Football leagues, which are open to free agents and follow the official NFL Flag rules and regulations. Windham

You can join the New Hampshire Flag Football League (NHFFL), which offers fall and spring seasons, as well as tournaments and clinics. Another option for football lovers is youth football and cheer, sponsored by the Windham Wolverines. This program is for grades K-8 and provides a safe and fun environment for kids to learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership. If you prefer other sports, you have plenty of choices in Windham. You can join the Windham Soccer Association (WSA), which offers recreational and competitive soccer programs for ages 3-19. Brentwood

If you are looking for some fun and exciting flag football opportunities for your kids in Brentwood, NH, you are in luck! There are several programs and events that you can choose from, depending on the age, skill level, and interest of your child. Here are some of the options available:

Seacoast Youth Flag Football League Summer Camp: This is a camp for children ages 3-15 who want to learn the basics of flag football or improve their skills. The camp is run by the Seacoast Youth Flag Football League, which has been providing quality flag football experiences since 2007. The camp runs from Monday to Thursday, 9:00am-12:00pm, at Stratham, NH. The cost is $150 per child, and all participants receive an NFL jersey, shorts, and official NFL flags. Seacoast Youth Flag Football League Female Clinics: These are free clinics for girls who want to try out flag football or improve their skills. The clinics are sponsored by the New England Patriots Foundation and are led by female coaches and players. The clinics are open to girls of all ages and skill levels, and they cover the fundamentals of flag football as well as teamwork, leadership, and confidence. Brentwood Recreation Open Gym: This is an open gym for residents of Swasey School grades 1st-5th who want to play some pickup basketball with their friends or practice their skills. The open gym is organized by the Brentwood Recreation Department and is held on Mondays, 5:00pm-6:30pm, at Talbot Gym in Exeter. There is no cost to sign up, but players need to register with the Recreation Office, website, or with the coaches. The open gym runs from December 4th to February 12th (excluding snow days, holidays, & school breaks). There will be coaches present at the gym to organize drills and scrimmages, with a focus on skill building and having fun. Derry

If you are looking for a fun and exciting way to play flag football in New Hampshire, you should check out the Derry Demons Football and Cheer program. The Derry Demons offer flag football for boys and girls ages 5-12, as well as tackle football and cheerleading for grades 9-12. The Derry Demons are part of the New Hampshire Youth Football & Spirit Conference (NHYFSC) and compete against other teams from across the state.

The Derry Demons have a proud history of success, both on and off the field. In 2022, their 10U flag football team won the state championship and placed second in the regional tournament. Their D10 and D18 cheer teams also performed exceptionally well at the national level, taking third and second place respectively.

The Derry Demons are more than just a sports program, they are a community of dedicated coaches, volunteers, parents and athletes who share a passion for football and cheer. They strive to teach their participants the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership and respect, while having fun and making lifelong friendships.

Weare, Henniker & New Boston

The John Stark Jr. Generals Football Program is a non-profit organization that offers flag football for children in grades K-3, as well as tackle football for grades 4-8. The program is open to students from Weare, Henniker, New Boston, and other surrounding towns in New Hampshire.

The program aims to teach the fundamentals of football, as well as sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership skills. The coaches are experienced and certified, and the players are grouped by age and skill level. The program follows the rules and guidelines of USA Football and the New Hampshire Youth Football League.

Check out the flag football program offered by Elite Sports Academy (ESA) in Epsom, NH. NCSA Women’s Flag Football

However, you should know that there are not any colleges offering Women’s Flag Football in the state of New Hampshire. You will have to look for other states that have programs that suit your needs and preferences.

The Queen City Flag Football League is an NFL Flag League that offers different divisions for players of all ages and skill levels. Here are some of the highlights of the league:

– The teams will consist of 11 players at minimum, with 7 on the field of which at least 2 are of each gender.
– The league will provide t-shirts, flags, referees, and music. You can also purchase personal flags for $12 if you prefer.

HFFL runs two seasons each year: spring and fall. The spring season usually starts in April and ends in June, while the fall season usually starts in September and ends in November. Each season consists of eight games, plus playoffs for some divisions. The games are played on Saturdays at Donati Field in Hooksett.
