NFL FLAG Maryland

NFL FLAG Maryland https://www.nffleagues.com/maryland  is the official website of the NFL FLAG program in Maryland. NFL FLAG is the NFL’s official flag football league and the only one that provides youth athletes with official NFL-branded team gear. NFL FLAG Maryland offers flag football leagues for boys and girls ages 5-17 in various locations across the state, such as Baltimore, Annapolis, Frederick, Rockville and more. The leagues are divided into four age divisions: 5-6, 7-8, 9-11 and 12-14. The leagues run in the spring and fall seasons, with each season lasting about 8 weeks. The registration fee for each season is $175 per player, which includes an NFL FLAG reversible jersey, flag belt and insurance.

NFL FLAG Maryland also organizes tournaments, clinics and camps throughout the year to provide more opportunities for players to develop their skills and have fun. Koa Sports Flag Football

Koa Sports  is a non-profit organization that aims to shape kids’ lives through sports. Koa Sports offers various sports programs for kids interested in flag football in Maryland. Koa Sports has spring and fall boys flag football leagues for grades K-8, as well as clinics and day camps. The leagues are divided into three age divisions: K-2, 3-5 and 6-8. The leagues run from March to June in the spring and from September to November in the fall, with each season consisting of 8 games plus playoffs. The registration fee for each season is $199 per player, which includes a Koa Sports jersey, flag belt and insurance.

Mid Atlantic Flag Football League

The Mid Atlantic Flag Football League (MAFFL)] is a competitive adult flag football league that operates in Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC. MAFFL has both men’s and co-ed divisions, with different skill levels ranging from recreational to elite. MAFFL runs four seasons per year: winter, spring, summer and fall, with each season lasting about 10 weeks. The registration fee for each season varies depending on the division and location, but it typically ranges from $75 to $100 per player or $750 to $1000 per team, which includes a MAFFL jersey, flag belt and insurance.

Prince George’s County

If you love football and want to play it in a fun and safe way, you should check out the PGCBGC Flag Football program. This program is part of the Prince George’s County Boys and Girls Club, which is a non-profit organization that provides sports and recreation opportunities for kids in the county. The PGCBGC Flag Football program offers leagues for boys and girls ages 6 to 14, with different divisions based on skill level and experience. The program follows the NFL Flag Football rules, which emphasize safety, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The players wear belts with flags attached, and the game is played without tackling or blocking.

The PGCBGC Flag Football in Maryland program runs in the spring season, from May to June. The teams practice once or twice a week, depending on the coach’s availability and preference. Also, other flag football in programs in Maryland include Unity Thunder Youth Football program. This program is designed for boys and girls ages 5 to 14 who want to learn the fundamentals of the game, develop their skills and character, and compete in local and national tournaments.

The Unity Thunder Youth Football program is part of the Unity Thunder Sports Association, a non-profit organization that aims to provide positive and enriching experiences for youth through sports. The association was founded in 2006 by a group of parents who wanted to create a safe and supportive environment for their children to play football. Since then, the association has grown to include other sports such as cheerleading, basketball, and track and field.

The Unity Thunder Youth Football program offers four levels of play: flag, 8U, 10U, and 12U. Each level has its own age and weight requirements, as well as rules and regulations. The program follows the guidelines of the American Youth Football (AYF), the largest youth football organization in the world. The AYF is committed to promoting the physical, mental, and moral development of young athletes, as well as fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership.

The Unity Thunder Youth Football program runs from August to December each year. The practices are held three times a week at various locations in Prince George’s County, Maryland. This league is a collaboration between the Prince George’s County Department of Parks and Recreation and the Washington Football Team Charitable Foundation. The league aims to provide a positive and safe environment for youth ages 8-14 to learn and enjoy the game of flag football.

The Commander’s Flag Football League will run from September 11 to November 13 with games played on Saturdays at various locations throughout the county. The league will have four divisions: 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U. Each division will have eight teams of up to 15 players each. The registration fee is $25 per player, which includes a jersey, flag belt, mouth guard, and insurance. Registration is open until August 27, 2023, or until all spots are filled.

Rockville

Check out the boys flag football leagues offered by Koa Sports. Koa Sports is a non-profit organization that provides sports programs for kids of all ages and skill levels in Maryland and Washington, DC. Their flag football leagues are designed to teach the fundamentals of the game, promote teamwork and sportsmanship, and most importantly, have fun!

Koa Sports has two seasons of flag football: spring and fall. The fall season runs from September to November, and the spring season runs from March to May. Each season consists of six weeks of games and one playoff weekend. The games are played on Saturdays or Sundays, depending on the league, at Luxmanor Elementary School in Rockville, MD. The BCFFL follows the rules of the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA), which are designed to promote fair play, safety and sportsmanship. Girls Flag Football in Maryland
