Valley West Kentucky

If you are looking for a fun and competitive way to stay active and enjoy the outdoors, you might want to check out the flag football program offered by the Valley West Community Parks and Recreation Department. Flag football is a non-contact sport that involves two teams of seven players each, who try to score points by moving the ball down the field and into the end zone. The players wear flags around their waist, and instead of tackling, the defenders try to pull off the flags to stop the ball carrier. Flag football is a great way to improve your agility, speed, coordination, and teamwork skills, while having a blast with your friends and family.

The Valley West Community Parks and Recreation Department organizes flag football leagues for different age groups and skill levels, from youth to adult, and from beginner to advanced. The leagues run from September to November, with games played on Saturdays at various locations throughout the valley. The registration fee is $65 per player, which includes a team jersey, flags, and referees. You can register as an individual or as a team, but hurry up because the spots are limited and fill up fast!

If you are interested in joining the flag football program, you can visit the website
