Premier Flag Football Federation (PFFF) is a national organization that offers leagues, tournaments and events for players of all ages and skill levels. Here are some of the things you need to know about PFFF and how to get involved.

PFFF runs several leagues across the country, including in Colorado, Texas, Florida, California and more. Each league has its own schedule, rules and divisions, but they all follow the 8v8 format of flag football. Colorado Springs

The YMCA Flag Football program in Colorado Springs is designed to help kids learn the game in a safe and friendly environment, with an emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship and character development.

The YMCA Flag Football program offers coed leagues for grades preschool to 8th, with practices once a week and games on Saturdays. The program runs in the spring and fall seasons, with different locations available depending on the season. The registration fee varies depending on the season and the location, but it includes a jersey, flag belt and mouth guard for each player. –  N Zone Sports is a national organization that offers flag football leagues, camps and programs for children ages 5 and up. N Zone Sports flag football is a 5-on-5, non-contact game that emphasizes skill development, teamwork and sportsmanship. All players get equal playing time and a chance to score touchdowns. N Zone Sports also teaches core values such as leadership, effort and sponsorship to help kids grow as athletes and individuals.

N Zone Sports has two flag football programs in Colorado Springs: Sports Leagues and N’Credible Juniors. Sports Leagues are for kids who want to compete in a league format with records and scores kept. Games are played on Saturdays at various locations in Colorado Springs. The registration fee is $125 per player and includes a team jersey, flag belt and mouth guard. The next season starts in March and the registration deadline is February 28th. -The Colorado Springs Homeschool Sports League (CSHSL) offers soccer, flag football, track, basketball and volleyball for homeschoolers of all ages and skill levels. Here is a summary of what they have to offer for flag football enthusiasts:

Play it Now Sports is an indoor sports facility that offers adult flag football leagues year round, with games played on Friday and Tuesday evenings. The leagues are 4 v 4, with fast-paced action and friendly referees. The cost per team is $350, plus $5 per week for ref fees. Play it Now Sports also offers kids leagues for soccer, baseball, archery, basketball, dodgeball and volleyball. These leagues run for 8 weeks, 5 times a year, and are designed to teach skills and sportsmanship in a fun environment. Flag Football for Girls in Colorado

The Girls Play Flag Football (GPFF) organization is the fastest growing all-girls league in the Mid-West. GPFF is a community that supports youth in pursuit of possibility by instilling character, teamwork and leadership skills through the game of flag football.

GPFF partners with the Kansas City Chiefs and NFL Flag to offer exciting seasons of football for girls ages 4-18 years old. You can choose from different locations, such as Notre Dame de Sion HS, Olathe KS, Homefield KC or All-American Indoor Sports. You can also sign up for skills development training, camps and clinics, or join the division tournament for a chance to win a ring and play in the Playoffs/Super Bowl.

Registration for the season is open now, with discounts for returning and new players. The spring season includes uniform pick-up, a practice/meet and greet day, league games and a division tournament. The game schedule consists of a 6-week season with 6 practices and 6 games. There will be one bye week during the regular season, followed by the division tournament for all teams after the regular season concludes.

There is a girls high school flag football program supported by the Denver Broncos in several school districts. Here is a summary of what you need to know about this program:

Denver

The Denver CityWide Sports website offers two types of flag football leagues for men and women of different skill levels.

The men’s 5v5 non-contact league is played on Mondays at Lowry Sports Complex. The registration fee is $550 per team, and the summer league runs from June 5th to August 2nd. The league has a 7-game regular season, and the top 4 teams qualify for playoffs. You can register as a team, a small group, or a free agent. You can also find the 5v5 non-contact flag rules on their website.

The women’s 7v7 draft league is also played on Mondays at Lowry Sports Complex. The registration fee is $65 per player, and the summer league runs from June 5th to August 2nd. The league has a 5-game regular season, and all teams qualify for playoffs. This is a draft league, which means that players sign up individually and are assigned to teams by the league coordinator. Valor Christian High School Football OL/DL Specialty Skill Development Camp: This is a camp for offensive and defensive linemen who want to improve their skills and techniques for flag football or tackle football. The camp is open to players in grades 6-12 and is led by Valor Christian High School coaches and players. The camp runs from June 12-13, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Valor Christian High School. The cost is $100 per player and includes a camp t-shirt. HERO Kids Sports Colorado: This is a program that offers various sports activities for kids aged 3-10, including flag football. You can request a certain coach if you have a preference, but it is not guaranteed that you will be assigned to that team. Coaches will receive their rosters, jerseys and flags by March 17, and they will contact you with more details. Coaches will also distribute the jerseys and flags to the players at the first practice or game.

– The Christian Fellowship League (CFL) is an organization that welcomes men and women of all backgrounds and skill levels to join their 6v6 non-contact flag football league. The CFL is not a religious league, but rather a league that promotes sportsmanship, fellowship and respect on and off the field.

The CFL has been running since 1980 and offers a spring and a fall season each year. The spring season starts on March 23 and the registration is open until March 8 with an early bird discount. The Foothills Fieldhouse is an indoor facility that offers adult coed 6v6 leagues year round.
