Scholarships for Women

If you are a female high school student who loves playing flag football in Missouri, you might be interested in the new opportunities to play at the college level and earn athletic scholarships. The National Collegiate Scouting Association (NCSA) is all about women’s flag football in Missouri.

According to the NCSA, women’s flag football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, and it is now recognized as an official NAIA varsity sport. This means that starting from the 2020-21 academic year, NAIA schools can offer scholarships and compete for national championships in women’s flag football. The NCSA website lists four NAIA schools in Missouri that currently have women’s flag football programs: Avila University, Culver-Stockton College, Missouri Baptist University, and Missouri Valley College.

The NCSA website also provides helpful resources for aspiring women’s flag football players, such as how to create a recruiting profile, how to contact college coaches, how to find the best fit for your academic and athletic goals, and how to navigate the recruiting process. You can also watch videos of successful women’s flag football players and learn from their stories and tips.

If you want to learn more about women’s flag football in Missouri and how to pursue your dream of playing at the college level, I recommend visiting the NCSA website and exploring their content. You can also sign up for a free NCSA profile and get access to more tools and guidance from their experts.

These schools are mostly private and located in the Midwest or southern states, and they vary in size and academic offerings. You can see a complete list of colleges with flag football teams here.
